Martin gives Swiss precision a new definition. Martin has done three projects for us— a deck, a sunroom, and a converted closet—and we’re completely satisfied with each one. The deck is sturdy and handsome; the sunroom quickly became our favorite place to have supper in the summer, and its ingeniously-angled window in an awkward corner is but one example of Martin’s gift for creative solutions. Another example is the closet conversion in my writing room. I described to Martin what I had in mind, and soon the closet became a wonderful book nook. Martin is painstaking with detail, he works efficiently, and he builds things to last. What more could you want in a master carpenter? If we were rating him on the basis of five stars, we’d give him ten.
