A Little About Me
Switzerland, where carpentry is as outstanding as our chocolate, cheese and watches.
I was born and raised in the Toggenburg region of Switzerland. At the age of 16 I started my apprenticeship as a carpenter and timber framer. By the age of 19 I had finished my apprenticeship and began working as a fully certified carpenter in Switzerland. For the next five years I gained further knowledge in timber frame, general, and prefab house construction. When I turned 24 I decided to apply for a work visa in Canada and soon found myself fully employed on Vancouver Island. I fell in love with British Columbia and applied for my permanent residency and subsequent Canadian citizenship in 2011. Since then I have continued constructing timber frame structures, new houses, home renovations of all sizes, finishing carpentry, and outdoor structures.

I take pride in the fact that my customers want to share what has been created with their friends and family. I believe that sound carpentry ensures that the customer is always satisfied and proud of the end product. As a Swiss trained and Canadian Red Seal Certified carpenter, it is my obligation to ensure every structure built is safe and will withstand the rugged West Coast environment.
